See how your flock lays through the seasons

Compare this year to last, week by week. When laying slows for short days or molt, Yolkyard says so in plain words, before you start to worry.

“Laying usually slows as the days shorten. Your flock is right on schedule.”

Eggs for the neighbors

Keep track of egg orders and who's paid

  • See how many eggs you'll have to spare
  • Giveaways count too

Counts stay matched across phones, even in a mixed household.

A new phone doesn't mean starting over. Every season stays put.

No ads

Just your flock and your numbers, nothing trying to sell you feed.

Hazel, the Yolkyard hen
Who's behind it

Made by a backyard keeper in Colorado

Yolkyard is made for flocks of a handful to a couple dozen hens. It stays simple on purpose: count the eggs, see the seasons, and keep the neighbors' orders straight.

Not for farms, and no per-hen records. Just the eggs. That's Hazel, by the way. She takes her laying very seriously.
